Green is more than good for the environment. It's also cool.
Join the "living green, living great" crowd at the festival all-day and into-the-evening at Sustainable L.A. on Thursday, Aug. 20th at the festival's 7+FIG.
It's all there for the environmentally conscious urban citizen:
- a farmer's market,
- "slow food" cooking demonstrations,
- the latest in green products and services,
- free giveaways,
- and guest lectures and book signings by some of the leading voices in the green movement.
And save your money to renew your membership in your favorite eco organization: All the programming at Sustainable L.A. is entirely free. (Note the MTA 7th / Metro Station is right across the street so it couldn't be easier - or more climate- friendly - to get there.)
Later that evening, join us as we celebrate the environment with an eco-friendly party at the festival's Cinema Lounge.
You'll also want to catch the Los Angeles premiere screening at the AT&T Center theater of the critically acclaimed A Sea Change, the first documentary on ocean acidification, the underbelly of climate change.
