Hollywood icon Paul Newman will be honored on the 1st anniversary of his passing with back-to-back, outdoor screenings on Thursday, August 13th of two of his most celebrated films: Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid and Hud.

Newman was nominated for Oscars for his performances in both films, each of which revised the classic Western with a new twist reflective of their decades. Copies of the new Paul Newman biography by Shawn Levy (currently on The New York Times Book Review Bestseller List) will be given away prior to the screenings, and celebrated actress Cloris Leachman, Newman's co-star in Butch Cassidy, will introduce the film, which starts at sunset (8:15 pm-ish).

It's all happening at the plaza level of 7+FIG AT ERNST & YOUNG PLAZA, conveniently located across the street from the 7th / Metro MTA subway station.
